Article Processing Charge (APC)

AgroTalk: Journal of Agricultural Science is an open-access journal committed to the principle that all research should be freely available to the global community without financial barriers. In line with this commitment and as part of the journal’s development phase, no article processing charges (APC) or submission fees are currently applied to authors.

Publication Policy

All manuscripts submitted to AgroTalk will undergo a rigorous editorial screening and double-blind peer review process to ensure the scientific quality, originality, and relevance of each paper. The absence of publication fees does not affect the evaluation process — the editorial decision is based entirely on academic merit and ethical standards.

Current Fee Structure

Type of Fee Amount (IDR) Notes
Submission Fee Rp 0,- No charge for manuscript submission.
Article Processing Charge (APC) Rp 0,- Free of charge during the journal’s initial publication period.
Publication Fee Rp 0,- No publication fee applied.

Future Policy

To maintain sustainability and continuous improvement in editorial quality, the journal may apply a modest article processing charge in the future to cover expenses related to editorial management, DOI registration, and digital preservation. Any changes to this policy will be transparently announced on the journal website before implementation.

Funding and Support

During this early stage, all operational and technical costs of the journal are supported by Rumah Tani e-Journal and volunteer contributions from the editorial team and reviewers. The journal is dedicated to developing an accessible and ethical platform for disseminating agricultural science research.

Waiver Policy

When article processing charges are implemented in the future, AgroTalk will provide full or partial waivers for authors from developing countries, students, or researchers without institutional funding. The editorial board will ensure that the ability to pay does not influence editorial decisions.

Note: The current “no-fee” policy applies to all articles submitted and accepted during the journal’s initial development period.
