The journal uses the OAI-PMH (Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) standard to enable integration with indexing databases and repository systems.
Archiving and Digital Preservation
To guarantee long-term preservation of published content, AgroTalk implements a digital archiving strategy using:
- PKP Preservation Network (PN) – For long-term archiving of OJS-based journals.
- LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) – Ensuring that the journal content remains accessible even if the journal website is unavailable.
Future Developments
The editorial board of AgroTalk continuously works to meet the criteria and improve journal quality for inclusion in international abstracting and indexing databases such as: Scopus, Web of Science, and Agricola (USDA National Agricultural Library).
These efforts reflect the journal’s commitment to open science, academic transparency, and global knowledge exchange in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and animal science.
